Calcetto Match Center Privacy Policy

What Calcetto Match Center stores, who can see competition information, why it is used, and how to request deletion.

This policy applies to Calcetto Match Center 1.1.0 on the web and Android, including the Android application com.calcettomatchcenter.app.

The short version

The sections below explain those points in detail.

Controller and contact

Salvatore Matteo Martorelli, operating as MartNexS, is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to martnexs.trrr@gmail.com.

Please mention Calcetto Match Center in the subject. If a request concerns a competition, include the display name, competition code, and approximate dates when available. Do not send a password, identity document, or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary and specifically requested. Calcetto Match Center does not use email-and-password accounts.

Information kept on the device

The browser or Android app stores the selected language and a randomly generated device credential. The credential lets the service recognize the same participant without asking for an email address or password.

Clearing the site’s or app’s data, resetting browser storage, or uninstalling the Android app removes that local information. It does not automatically delete competition information already stored by the online service.

Information used for competitions

Calcetto Match Center stores the information needed to create and maintain a shared competition:

The service does not ask for an email address, telephone number, payment-card information, precise location, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, or advertising identifier. Players and administrators should use nicknames when a real name is unnecessary and should not enter health, contact, payment, or other sensitive information in names or competition fields.

Who can see competition information

People who can access a competition can see its participant names, memberships, squads, fixtures, results, standings, and football statistics. Competition codes should be shared only with the intended group.

An administrator can add a managed player who does not use the app. Administrators should tell that person before adding their name and should use a nickname where practical. A managed player does not receive a device credential merely because the administrator adds them to a match.

MartNexS does not sell this information or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Calcetto Match Center does not use it for behavioral advertising, profiling, or automated decisions about players.

Why this information is processed

The information above is used to create a passwordless participant profile; let people create or join a private competition; synchronize the competition between devices; calculate results, standings, brackets, and player statistics; and allow the administrator to correct and manage the record.

Where applicable, the legal basis is performance of the service requested by the participant under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. MartNexS also relies on its legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to operate and secure the service, enforce administrator permissions, prevent misuse, and diagnose technical failures.

Providing the display name, device credential, and competition information is not a legal requirement. Without it, the online competition cannot be created, joined, or synchronized.

Service providers and other recipients

Convex provides the database and real-time synchronization used by the app. Netlify hosts the web edition. GitHub may distribute Android releases. These providers receive the requests necessary to deliver the requested service or file and may process ordinary technical data such as an IP address, request time, browser or device headers, and security logs under their own terms.

Some providers may process information outside the player’s country. The processing location and applicable international-transfer safeguards depend on each provider’s current infrastructure and service configuration. Contact MartNexS for more information about the providers used for Calcetto Match Center.

How long information is kept

Competition information remains available until the competition administrator deletes the competition or MartNexS handles a valid deletion request. Archiving a competition only hides it from the active list; it does not delete the record. Administrators can also delete individual matches.

Version 1.1.0 does not automatically expire standalone participant profiles and does not provide a self-service profile-deletion screen. A participant can request access, correction, or deletion by email using the contact details above. MartNexS will use the display name, competition code, and approximate dates to locate the relevant information when possible, without collecting unnecessary identification.

Local language and credential data remain on the device until the player clears them. Hosting and distribution providers may keep technical logs for their own operational and security periods, as described in their policies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, a person may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of their personal data; request data portability; or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests are handled without charge and within the time required by applicable law.

Because there is no email account, MartNexS may not be able to connect a request to a record without the display name and competition code. Verification will be proportionate to the request and will not require unnecessary identity documents.

A person may also complain to the data-protection supervisory authority for the country where they live or work, or where they believe a data-protection issue occurred. In Italy, the supervisory authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Security

The web and Android editions use HTTPS and secure WebSocket connections. The service checks device credentials, input length and shape, competition membership, and administrator-only actions. The Android app disables cleartext network traffic. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so device credentials and competition codes should be treated as private access information.

Calcetto Match Center does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or general file storage.

Children

Calcetto Match Center is a general-audience organizer for private amateur football groups. It does not ask for a participant’s age and is not designed to collect sensitive information about children. A parent or guardian who believes a child was added to a competition can contact MartNexS with the display name, competition code, and approximate dates, if known. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents.

Advertising, purchases, and external support

Calcetto Match Center contains no advertising, behavioral tracking, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, subscription, in-app purchase, or Google Play Billing integration. The app does not receive payment-card information.

The MartNexS project page includes an optional link to Ko-fi. A tip is handled by Ko-fi and its payment providers under their own terms. It does not unlock app content, remove restrictions, or provide a competitive advantage. The Android app contains no donation wording or Ko-fi link.

Changes to this policy

The effective date shows when this policy first applied. The updated date changes when the wording or data practices are revised. If a future release materially changes how information is used, this page will be updated before or when that change takes effect.
